Wyke 6th Form College

Wyke is a successful sixth form college located in west Hull, educating students from Hull, the East Riding and North Lincolnshire. The College offers a broad portfolio of A level, vocational and T-level courses to over 2000 students. In recent years, Wyke has gained national recognition, winning the “FE Teaching Team of Year” Pearson Award in 2019. In 2020, Wyke was placed in the top 2% of 2000 educational establishments surveyed for their value-added performance by The Sunday Times “Parent Power Survey".

These awards, together with our outstanding exam results, highly successful Pre-Medical and Oxbridge programmes, and an enrichment programme with a global reach, have made Wyke a very popular and happy place to study and work.

The redeveloped £28M campus reflects the accommodation quality associated with the university sector. Four separate academic buildings are sited around a landscaped courtyard that creates a fresh and modern learning environment.

Our alumni include Rob Aramayo (actor), Emma Hardy and Andrew Percy (Members of Parliament), James Hendry (Royal Opera House conductor) and Jemma Purfield (professional footballer, England, Bristol City, Liverpool).
